Welcome to all of you onboard the Oosterkim. Whether it is for a sailing weekend, a workshop, cultural activity or an overnight stay, you will be pleasantly surprised on board this classic barge.

With the Oosterkim, we arrange sailing trips (one or more days) for groups of up to 12 persons. We choose the route by mutual agreement depending on the length of the sailing trip. The trip usually starts from our home port of Deventer, however it is possible to embark from other places.

Our strength lies in mutual agreement and flexibility. We can offer training on board, alternatively, we may sail with a theatre group along the Hanzesteden, where the ship would be used as the theatre. Many families and groups of friends already know where they can find us, for a weekend off, a special occasion or just for a social gathering.

Where can you find us?
At Deventer you will find us in the "Voorhaven", the harbour on the river IJssel just before the Bernard lock. It is just a 10 minute walk from the city centre.
