The SEM-52 A VHF-low band trx. A X-tal controlled 6 channel radio made by SEL (Standard Electric Lorenz) from Germany. The black "ear" shown on the photo contains both speaker and microphone. The radio is carried in a pouch on the brest. This pouch also contains the seperate PTT-switch which is connected by a cable to the SEM-52. The batterycasing houses six cells.
