How to know you are born again

Rom 10:9 Because if you acknowledge {and} confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) {and} confirms [his] salvation.
Rom 10:11 The Scripture says, No man who believes in Him [who adheres to, relies on, and trusts in Him] will [ever] be put to shame {or} be disappointed.

John 5:24 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the person whose ears are open to My words [who listens to My message] and believes {and} trusts in {and} clings to {and} relies on Him Who sent Me has (possesses now) eternal life. And he does not come into judgment [does not incur sentence of judgment, will not come under condemnation], but he has already passed over out of death into life.

2 Cor 5:17 Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh {and} new has come!

Eph 2:8 For it is by free grace (God's unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment {and} made partakers of Christ's salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;
Eph 2:9 Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law's demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.]

1 John 5:1 EVERYONE WHO believes (adheres to, trusts, and relies on the fact) that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah) is a born-again child of God; and everyone who loves the Father also loves the one born of Him (His offspring).
1 John 5:2 By this we come to know (recognize and understand) that we love the children of God: when we love God and obey His commands (orders, charges)--[when we keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and His teaching].
1 John 5:3 For the [true] love of God is this: that we do His commands [keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and teaching]. And these orders of His are not irksome (burdensome, oppressive, or grievous).
1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.
1 John 5:5 Who is it that is victorious over [that conquers] the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on that fact]?
1 John 5:6 This is He Who came by (with) water and blood [His baptism and His death], Jesus Christ (the Messiah)--not by (in) the water only, but by (in) the water and the blood. And it is the [Holy] Spirit Who bears witness, because the [Holy] Spirit is the Truth.

1 John 5:12 He who possesses the Son has that life; he who does not possess the Son of God does not have that life.

Matt 10:32 Therefore, everyone who acknowledges Me before men {and} confesses Me [out of a state of oneness with Me], I will also acknowledge him before My Father Who is in heaven {and} confess [that I am abiding in] him.

Matt 10:38 And he who does not take up his cross and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me, conforming wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying also] is not worthy of Me.
Matt 10:39 Whoever finds his [lower] life will lose it [the higher life], and whoever loses his [lower] life on My account will find it [the higher life].

Gal 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ (the Messiah) lives in me; and the life I now live in the body I live by faith in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in) the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

1 Pet 1:23 You have been regenerated (born again), not from a mortal origin (seed, sperm), but from one that is immortal by the {ever} living and lasting Word of God.

Gal 3:26 For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith.
Gal 3:27 For as many [of you] as were baptized into Christ [into a spiritual union and communion with Christ, the Anointed One, the Messiah] have put on (clothed yourselves with) Christ.
Gal 3:28 There is [now no distinction] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is not male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Gal 5:24 And those who belong to Christ Jesus (the Messiah) have crucified the flesh (the godless human nature) with its passions and appetites {and} desires.
Gal 5:25 If we live by the [Holy] Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. [If by the Holy Spirit we have our life in God, let us go forward walking in line, our conduct controlled by the Spirit.]

Ezek 36:26 A new heart will I give you and a new spirit will I put within you, and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
Ezek 36:27 And I will put my Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you shall heed My ordinances and do them.

1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed over out of death into Life by the fact that we love the brethren (our fellow Christians). He who does not love abides (remains, is held and kept continually) in [spiritual] death.

Matt 13:23 As for what was sown on good soil, this is he who hears the Word and grasps {and} comprehends it; he indeed bears fruit and yields in one case a hundred times as much as was sown, in another sixty times as much, and in another thirty.

Rom 6:6 We know that our old (unrenewed) self was nailed to the cross with Him in order that [our] body [which is the instrument] of sin might be made ineffective {and} inactive for evil, that we might no longer be the slaves of sin.
Rom 6:7 For when a man dies, he is freed (loosed, delivered) from [the power of] sin [among men].
Rom 6:8 Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,

Eph 4:24
And put on the new nature (the regenerate self) created in God's image, [Godlike] in true righteousness and holiness.

1 Tim 6:12
Fight the good fight of the faith; lay hold of the eternal life to which you were summoned and [for which] you confessed the good confession [of faith] before many witnesses.

Heb 10:23 So let us seize {and} hold fast {and} retain without wavering the hope we cherish {and} confess {and} our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) {and} faithful to His word.

1 John 2:29
If you know (perceive and are sure) that He [Christ] is [absolutely] righteous [conforming to the Father's will in purpose, thought, and action], you may also know (be sure) that everyone who does righteously [and is therefore in like manner conformed to the divine will] is born (begotten) of Him [God].

1 John 4:8
He who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love.

John 1:12 But to as many as did receive {and} welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name

John 3:3 Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God.

How to know the sufficienty of Christ

Heb 12:2 Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader {and} the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising {and} ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

John 6:35 Jesus replied, I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to Me will never be hungry, and he who believes in {and} cleaves to {and} trusts in {and} relies on Me will never thirst any more (at any time).

Heb 13:5 Let your character {or} moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you {nor} give you up {nor} leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless {nor} forsake {nor} let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]
Heb 13:6 So we take comfort {and} are encouraged {and} confidently {and} boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me?

Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ (the Messiah) is [always] the same, yesterday, today, [yes] and forever (to the ages).

Heb 4:14 Inasmuch then as we have a great High Priest Who has [already] ascended {and} passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession [of faith in Him].
Heb 4:15 For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand {and} sympathize {and} have a shared feeling with our weaknesses {and} infirmities {and} liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning.
Heb 4:16 Let us then fearlessly {and} confidently {and} boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God's unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].

2 Cor 12:9 But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for {My} strength {and} power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) {and show themselves most effective} in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses {and} infirmities, that the strength {and} power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!

Matt 28:18
Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.
Matt 28:19 Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Matt 28:20 Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close {and} consummation of the age. {Amen (so let it be).}

Rev 1:17 When I saw Him, I fell at His feet as if dead. But He laid His right hand on me and said, Do not be afraid! I am the First and the Last,
Rev 1:18 And the Ever-living One [I am living in the eternity of the eternities]. I died, but see, I am alive forevermore; and I possess the keys of death and Hades (the realm of the dead).

Phil 4:13 I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency].

Col 2:9 For in Him the whole fullness of Deity (the Godhead) continues to dwell in bodily form [giving complete expression of the divine nature].
Col 2:10 And you are in Him, made full {and} having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead--Father, Son and Holy Spirit--and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power].

John 10:11 I am the Good Shepherd. The Good Shepherd risks {and} lays down His [own] life for the sheep.

Ps 23:1 THE LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack.
Ps 23:2 He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still {and} restful waters.
Ps 23:3 He refreshes {and} restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him--not for my earning it, but] for His name's sake.
Ps 23:4 Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear {or} dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.

John 8:36 So if the Son liberates you [makes you free men], then you are really {and} unquestionably free.

2 Cor 3:4 Such is the reliance {and} confidence that we have through Christ toward {and} with reference to God.
2 Cor 3:5 Not that we are fit (qualified and sufficient in ability) of ourselves to form personal judgments {or} to claim {or} count anything as coming from us, but our power {and} ability {and} sufficiency are from God.

2 Tim 4:17 But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the [Gospel] message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. So I was delivered out of the jaws of the lion.
2 Tim 4:18 [And indeed] the Lord will certainly deliver {and} draw me to Himself from every assault of evil. He will preserve {and} bring me safe unto His heavenly kingdom. To Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen (so be it).

Ps 121:2 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
Ps 121:3 He will not allow your foot to slip {or} to be moved; He Who keeps you will not slumber.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.

John 1:4 In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.

1 Cor 3:10 According to the grace (the special endowment for my task) of God bestowed on me, like a skillful architect {and} master builder I laid [the] foundation, and now another [man] is building upon it. But let each [man] be careful how he builds upon it,
1 Cor 3:11
For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is [already] laid, which is Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

Rom 13:12
The night is far gone and the day is almost here. Let us then drop (fling away) the works {and} deeds of darkness and put on the [full] armor of light.
Rom 13:13 Let us live {and} conduct ourselves honorably {and} becomingly as in the [open light of] day, not in reveling (carousing) and drunkenness, not in immorality and debauchery (sensuality and licentiousness), not in quarreling and jealousy.
Rom 13:14 But clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), and make no provision for [indulging] the flesh [put a stop to thinking about the evil cravings of your physical nature] to [gratify its] desires (lusts).

Ps 121:5 The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand [the side not carrying a shield].

Ps 121:7 The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life.
Ps 121:8 The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.

John 10:17 For this [reason] the Father loves Me, because I lay down My [own] life--to take it back again.
John 10:18 No one takes it away from Me. On the contrary, I lay it down voluntarily. [I put it from Myself.] I am authorized {and} have power to lay it down (to resign it) and I am authorized {and} have power to take it back again. These are the instructions (orders) which I have received [as My charge] from My Father.

John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming to him and said, Look! There is the Lamb of God, Who takes away the sin of the world!
John 1:30 This is He of Whom I said, After me comes a Man Who has priority over me [Who takes rank above me] because He was before me {and} existed before I did.

Ps 73:25 Whom have I in heaven but You? And I have no delight {or} desire on earth besides You.
Ps 73:26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the Rock {and} firm Strength of my heart and my Portion forever.

Tim 2:5 For there [is only] one God, and [only] one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,

What is the blood of Jesus to you

Matt 26:28 For this is My blood of the {new} covenant, which [ratifies the agreement and] is being poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Rom 3:24 [All] are justified {and} made upright {and} in right standing with God, freely {and} gratuitously by His grace (His unmerited favor and mercy), through the redemption which is [provided] in Christ Jesus,
Rom 3:25 Whom God put forward [before the eyes of all] as a mercy seat {and} propitiation by His blood [the cleansing and life-giving sacrifice of atonement and reconciliation, to be received] through faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in His divine forbearance He had passed over {and} ignored former sins without punishment.
Rom 3:26 It was to demonstrate {and} prove at the present time (in the now season) that He Himself is righteous and that He justifies {and} accepts as righteous him who has [true] faith in Jesus.

Lev 17:11 For the life (the animal soul) is in the blood, and I have given it for you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement, by reason of the life [which it represents].

Rom 5:8 But God shows {and} clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us.
Rom 5:9 Therefore, since we are now justified (acquitted, made righteous, and brought into right relationship with God) by Christ's blood, how much more [certain is it that] we shall be saved by Him from the indignation {and} wrath of God.
Rom 5:10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, it is much more [certain], now that we are reconciled, that we shall be saved (daily delivered from sin's dominion) through His [resurrection] life.

1 John 1:7 But if we [really] are living {and} walking in the Light, as He [Himself] is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus {Christ} His Son cleanses (removes) us from all sin {and} guilt [keeps us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations].

Heb 9:14 How much more surely shall the blood of Christ, Who by virtue of [His] eternal Spirit [His own preexistent divine personality] has offered Himself as an unblemished sacrifice to God, purify our consciences from dead works {and} lifeless observances to serve the [ever] living God?

John 6:53 And Jesus said to them, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, you cannot have any life in you unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood [unless you appropriate His life and the saving merit of His blood].
John 6:54 He who feeds on My flesh and drinks My blood has (possesses now) eternal life, and I will raise him up [from the dead] on the last day.
John 6:55 For My flesh is true {and} genuine food, and My blood is true {and} genuine drink.
John 6:56 He who feeds on My flesh and drinks My blood dwells continually in Me, and I [in like manner dwell continually] in him.

Eph 1:7 In Him we have redemption (deliverance and salvation) through His blood, the remission (forgiveness) of our offenses (shortcomings and trespasses), in accordance with the riches {and} the generosity of His gracious favor,

Heb 9:21 And in the same way he sprinkled with the blood both the tabernacle and all the [sacred] vessels {and} appliances used in [divine] worship.
Heb 9:22 [In fact] under the Law almost everything is purified by means of blood, and without the shedding of blood there is neither release from sin {and} its guilt {nor} the remission of the due {and} merited punishment for sins.

1 Pet 1:18 You must know (recognize) that you were redeemed (ransomed) from the useless (fruitless) way of living inherited by tradition from [your] forefathers, not with corruptible things [such as] silver and gold,
1 Pet 1:19 But [you were purchased] with the precious blood of Christ (the Messiah), like that of a [sacrificial] lamb without blemish or spot.
1 Pet 1:20 It is true that He was chosen {and} foreordained (destined and foreknown for it) before the foundation of the world, but He was brought out to public view (made manifest) in these last days (at the end of the times) for the sake of you.
1 Pet 1:21 Through Him you believe in (adhere to, rely on) God, Who raised Him up from the dead and gave Him honor {and} glory, so that your faith and hope are [centered and rest] in God.

Ex 12:13 The blood shall be for a token {or} sign to you upon [the doorposts of] the houses where you are, [that] when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague shall be upon you to destroy you when I smite the land of Egypt.

Ex 24:8 And Moses took the [remaining half of the] blood and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant which the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words.

Luke 22:19 Then He took a loaf [of bread], and when He had given thanks, He broke [it] and gave it to them saying, This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.
Luke 22:20 And in like manner, He took the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament {or} covenant [ratified] in My blood, which is shed (poured out) for you.

Eph 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were [so] far away, through (by, in) the blood of Christ have been brought near.

How to know the power of the Word

Heb 4:12 For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing {and} sifting {and} analyzing {and} judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.

Ps 119:11 Your word have I laid up in my heart, that I might not sin against You.
Ps 119:16 I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.

Ps 119:103 How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
Ps 119:104 Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.
Ps 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Ps 12:6 The words {and} promises of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in an earthen furnace, purified seven times over.
Ps 12:7 You will keep them and preserve them, O Lord; You will guard {and} keep us from this [evil] generation forever.

John 1:14 And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth.

2 Tim 3:15 And how from your childhood you have had a knowledge of {and} been acquainted with the sacred Writings, which are able to instruct you {and} give you the understanding for salvation which comes through faith in Christ Jesus [through the leaning of the entire human personality on God in Christ Jesus in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness].
2 Tim 3:16 Every Scripture is God-breathed (given by His inspiration) and profitable for instruction, for reproof {and} conviction of sin, for correction of error {and} discipline in obedience, [and] for training in righteousness (in holy living, in conformity to God's will in thought, purpose, and action),
2 Tim 3:17 So that the man of God may be complete {and} proficient, well fitted {and} thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Ps 33:6 By the word of the Lord were the heavens made, and all their host by the breath of His mouth.

Ps 107:20 He sends forth His word and heals them and rescues them from the pit {and} destruction.
Ps 107:21 Oh, that men would praise [and confess to] the Lord for His goodness {and} loving-kindness and His wonderful works to the children of men!

Ps 119:89 Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven [stands firm as the heavens].
Ps 119:90 Your faithfulness is from generation to generation;

Ps 119:129 Your testimonies are wonderful [far exceeding anything conceived by man]; therefore my [penitent] self keeps them [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them].
Ps 119:130 The entrance {and} unfolding of Your words give light; their unfolding gives understanding (discernment and comprehension) to the simple.

1 Pet 2:2 Like newborn babies you should crave (thirst for, earnestly desire) the pure (unadulterated) spiritual milk, that by it you may be nurtured {and} grow unto [completed] salvation,
1 Pet 2:3 Since you have [already] tasted the goodness {and} kindness of the Lord.

John 15:3 You are cleansed {and} pruned already, because of the word which I have given you [the teachings I have discussed with you].

1 Pet 1:23 You have been regenerated (born again), not from a mortal origin (seed, sperm), but from one that is immortal by the {ever} living and lasting Word of God.
1 Pet 1:24 For all flesh (mankind) is like grass, and all its glory (honor) like [the] flower of grass. The grass withers and the flower drops off,

Matt 4:4 But He replied, It has been written, Man shall not live {and} be upheld {and} sustained by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.

Luke 21:33 The sky and the earth (the universe, the world) will pass away, but My words will not pass away.

John 8:31 So Jesus said to those Jews who had believed in Him, If you abide in My word [hold fast to My teachings and live in accordance with them], you are truly My disciples.
John 8:32 And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.

Heb 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.

Isaiah 40:8 The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.

Prov 12:25 Anxiety in a man's heart weighs it down, but an encouraging word makes it glad.

John 17:17 Sanctify them [purify, consecrate, separate them for Yourself, make them holy] by the Truth; Your Word is Truth.

2 Tim 1:13 Hold fast {and} follow the pattern of wholesome {and} sound teaching which you have heard from me, in [all] the faith and love which are [for us] in Christ Jesus.

Rom 10:17 So faith comes by hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the preaching [of the message that came from the lips] of Christ (the Messiah Himself).

Rom 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, {even} the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].

Eph 6:15 And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace.
Eph 6:16 Lift up over all the [covering] shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one].
Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God.

What the Holy Spirit is to you

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness,
Gal 5:23 Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge].

1 Cor 2:9 But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed].
1 Cor 2:10 Yet to us God has unveiled {and} revealed them by {and} through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring {and} examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man's scrutiny].
1 Cor 2:11 For what person perceives (knows and understands) what passes through a man's thoughts except the man's own spirit within him? Just so no one discerns (comes to know and comprehend) the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
1 Cor 2:12 Now we have not received the spirit [that belongs to] the world, but the [Holy] Spirit Who is from God, [given to us] that we might realize {and} comprehend {and} appreciate the gifts [of divine favor and blessing so freely and lavishly] bestowed on us by God.
1 Cor 2:13 And we are setting these truths forth in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the [Holy] Spirit, combining {and} interpreting spiritual truths with spiritual language [to those who possess the Holy Spirit].
1 Cor 2:14 But the natural, nonspiritual man does not accept {or} welcome {or} admit into his heart the gifts {and} teachings {and} revelations of the Spirit of God, for they are folly (meaningless nonsense) to him; and he is incapable of knowing them [of progressively recognizing, understanding, and becoming better acquainted with them] because they are spiritually discerned {and} estimated {and} appreciated.

John 14:14 [Yes] I will grant [I Myself will do for you] whatever you shall ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM].
John 14:15 If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.
John 14:16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever--
John 14:17 The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know {and} recognize Him. But you know {and} recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.
John 14:18 I will not leave you as orphans [comfortless, desolate, bereaved, forlorn, helpless]; I will come [back] to you.

John 14:26 But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.

Rom 8:11 And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ {Jesus} from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you.

Rom 8:16 The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God.
Rom 8:17 And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory.
Rom 8:18 [But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us {and} in us {and} for us {and} conferred on us!

Rom 8:26 So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid {and} bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer {nor} how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication {and} pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings {and} groanings too deep for utterance.
Rom 8:27 And He Who searches the hearts of men knows what is in the mind of the [Holy] Spirit [what His intent is], because the Spirit intercedes {and} pleads [before God] in behalf of the saints according to {and} in harmony with God's will.

Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, God declares, that I will pour out of My Spirit upon all mankind, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels] and your young men shall see visions (divinely granted appearances), and your old men shall dream [divinely suggested] dreams.
Acts 2:18 Yes, and on My menservants also and on My maidservants in those days I will pour out of My Spirit, and they shall prophesy [telling forth the divine counsels and predicting future events pertaining especially to God's kingdom].

John 16:7 However, I am telling you nothing but the truth when I say it is profitable (good, expedient, advantageous) for you that I go away. Because if I do not go away, the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you [into close fellowship with you]; but if I go away, I will send Him to you [to be in close fellowship with you].
John 16:8 And when He comes, He will convict {and} convince the world {and} bring demonstration to it about sin and about righteousness (uprightness of heart and right standing with God) and about judgment:
John 16:9 About sin, because they do not believe in Me [trust in, rely on, and adhere to Me];
John 16:10 About righteousness (uprightness of heart and right standing with God), because I go to My Father, and you will see Me no longer;
John 16:11 About judgment, because the ruler (evil genius, prince) of this world [Satan] is judged {and} condemned {and} sentence already is passed upon him.
John 16:12 I have still many things to say to you, but you are not able to bear them {or} to take them upon you {or} to grasp them now.
John 16:13 But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). For He will not speak His own message [on His own authority]; but He will tell whatever He hears [from the Father; He will give the message that has been given to Him], and He will announce {and} declare to you the things that are to come [that will happen in the future].
John 16:14 He will honor {and} glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you.
John 16:15 Everything that the Father has is Mine. That is what I meant when I said that He [the Spirit] will take the things that are Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you.
John 16:16 In a little while you will no longer see Me, and again after a short while you will see Me.

1 Thess 1:5 For our [preaching of the] glad tidings (the Gospel) came to you not only in word, but also in [its own inherent] power and in the Holy Spirit and with great conviction {and} absolute certainty [on our part]. You know what kind of men we proved [ourselves] to be among you for your good.
1 Thess 1:6 And you [set yourselves to] become imitators of us and [through us] of the Lord Himself, for you welcomed our message in [spite of] much persecution, with joy [inspired] by the Holy Spirit;

Luke 11:10 For everyone who asks {and} keeps on asking receives; and he who seeks {and} keeps on seeking finds; and to him who knocks {and} keeps on knocking, the door shall be opened.
Luke 11:11 What father among you, if his son asks for {a loaf of bread, will give him a stone; or if he asks for} a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent?
Luke 11:12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?
Luke 11:13 If you then, evil as you are, know how to give good gifts [gifts that are to their advantage] to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask {and} continue to ask Him!

Acts 1:4 And while being in their company {and} eating with them, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem but to wait for what the Father had promised, Of which [He said] you have heard Me speak.
Acts 1:5 For John baptized with water, but not many days from now you shall be baptized with (placed in, introduced into) the Holy Spirit.
Acts 1:6 So when they were assembled, they asked Him, Lord, is this the time when You will reestablish the kingdom {and} restore it to Israel?
Acts 1:7 He said to them, It is not for you to become acquainted with {and} know what time brings [the things and events of time and their definite periods] or fixed years and seasons (their critical niche in time), which the Father has appointed (fixed and reserved) by His own choice {and} authority {and} personal power.
Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria and to the ends (the very bounds) of the earth.

Matt 10:20 For it is not you who are speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

Isaiah 59:19 So [as the result of the Messiah's intervention] they shall [reverently] fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him {and} put him to flight [for He will come like a rushing stream which the breath of the Lord drives].

Heb 12:25 So see to it that you do not reject Him {or} refuse to listen to {and} heed Him Who is speaking [to you now]. For if they [the Israelites] did not escape when they refused to listen {and} heed Him Who warned {and} divinely instructed them [here] on earth [revealing with heavenly warnings His will], how much less shall we escape if we reject {and} turn our backs on Him Who cautions {and} admonishes [us] from heaven?

2 Cor 3:6 [It is He] Who has qualified us [making us to be fit and worthy and sufficient] as ministers {and} dispensers of a new covenant [of salvation through Christ], not [ministers] of the letter (of legally written code) but of the Spirit; for the code [of the Law] kills, but the [Holy] Spirit makes alive.

2
Cor 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty (emancipation from bondage, freedom).
2 Cor 3:18 And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His {very own} image in ever increasing splendor {and} from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.

Luke 12:12 For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour {and} moment what [you] ought to say.

Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place in which they were assembled was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they continued to speak the Word of God with freedom {and} boldness {and} courage.
Acts 4:32 Now the company of believers was of one heart and soul, and not one of them claimed that anything which he possessed was [exclusively] his own, but everything they had was in common {and} for the use of all.
Acts 4:33 And with great strength {and} ability {and} power the apostles delivered their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace (loving-kindness and favor and goodwill) rested richly upon them all.

Eph 5:17 Therefore do not be vague {and} thoughtless {and} foolish, but understanding {and} firmly grasping what the will of the Lord is.
Eph 5:18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but ever be filled {and} stimulated with the [Holy] Spirit.
Eph 5:19 Speak out to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, offering praise with voices [and instruments] and making melody with all your heart to the Lord,
Eph 5:20 At all times and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.

Eph 4:16 For because of Him the whole body (the church, in all its various parts), closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints {and} ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part [with power adapted to its need] is working properly [in all its functions], grows to full maturity, building itself up in love.
Eph 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God [do not offend or vex or sadden Him], by Whom you were sealed (marked, branded as God's own, secured) for the day of redemption (of final deliverance through Christ from evil and the consequences of sin).

2 Pet 1:20 [Yet] first [you must] understand this, that no prophecy of Scripture is [a matter] of any personal {or} private {or} special interpretation (loosening, solving).
2 Pet 1:21 For no prophecy ever originated because some man willed it [to do so--it never came by human impulse], but men spoke from God who were borne along (moved and impelled) by the Holy Spirit.

Jude 1:20 But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit;
Jude 1:21 Guard {and} keep yourselves in the love of God; expect {and} patiently wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)--[which will bring you] unto life eternal.

Luke 24:49 And behold, I will send forth upon you what My Father has promised; but remain in the city [Jerusalem] until you are clothed with power from on high.

The following Scriptures are added by Ministry of Hope

Acts 2:1 AND WHEN the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all assembled together in one place,
Acts 2:2 When suddenly there came a sound from heaven like the rushing of a violent tempest blast, and it filled the whole house in which they were sitting.
Acts 2:3 And there appeared to them tongues resembling fire, which were separated {and} distributed and which settled on each one of them.
Acts 2:4 And they were all filled (diffused throughout their souls) with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other (different, foreign) languages (tongues), as the Spirit kept giving them clear {and} loud expression [in each tongue in appropriate words].

Acts 2:5 Now there were then residing in Jerusalem Jews, devout {and} God-fearing men from every country under heaven.
Acts 2:6 And when this sound was heard, the multitude came together and they were astonished {and} bewildered, because each one heard them [the apostles] speaking in his own [particular] dialect.
Acts 2:7 And they were beside themselves with amazement, saying, Are not all these who are talking Galileans?
Acts 2:8 Then how is it that we hear, each of us, in our own (particular) dialect to which we were born?
Acts 2:9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites and inhabitants of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and [the province of] Asia,

Acts 8:15 And they came down and prayed for them that the Samaritans might receive the Holy Spirit;

Acts 8:17 Then [the apostles] laid their hands on them one by one, and they received the Holy Spirit.

1 Tim 4:14 Do not neglect the gift which is in you, [that special inward endowment] which was directly imparted to you [by the Holy Spirit] by prophetic utterance when the elders laid their hands upon you [at your ordination].

Acts 10:44 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all who were listening to the message.

Acts 10:46 For they heard them talking in [unknown] tongues (languages) and extolling {and} magnifying God. Then Peter asked,
Acts 10:47 Can anyone forbid {or} refuse water for baptizing these people, seeing that they have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?

Acts 19:5 On hearing this they were baptized [again, this time] in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Acts 19:6 And as Paul laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them; and they spoke in [foreign, unknown] tongues (languages) and prophesied.

How to abide in Christ

John 15:4 Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me.
John 15:5 I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.
John 15:6 If a person does not dwell in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken-off] branch, and withers; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and they are burned.
John 15:7 If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you {and} continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.

1 John 2:28 And now, little children, abide (live, remain permanently) in Him, so that when He is made visible, we may have {and} enjoy perfect confidence (boldness, assurance) and not be ashamed {and} shrink from Him at His coming.

Prov 8:17 I love those who love me, and those who seek me early {and} diligently shall find me.

Ps 119:15 I will meditate on Your precepts and have respect to Your ways [the paths of life marked out by Your law].
Ps 119:16 I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word.

Col 3:16 Let the word [spoken by] Christ (the Messiah) have its home [in your hearts and minds] {and} dwell in you in [all its] richness, as you teach and admonish {and} train one another in all insight {and} intelligence {and} wisdom [in spiritual things, and as you sing] psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, making melody to God with [His] grace in your hearts.

Is 40:31 But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change {and} renew their strength {and} power; they shall lift their wings {and} mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint {or} become tired.

1 John 2:3 And this is how we may discern [daily, by experience] that we are coming to know Him [to perceive, recognize, understand, and become better acquainted with Him]: if we keep (bear in mind, observe, practice) His teachings (precepts, commandments).
1 John 2:4 Whoever says, I know Him [I perceive, recognize, understand, and am acquainted with Him] but fails to keep {and} obey His commandments (teachings) is a liar, and the Truth [of the Gospel] is not in him.
1 John 2:5 But he who keeps (treasures) His Word [who bears in mind His precepts, who observes His message in its entirety], truly in him has the love of {and} for God been perfected (completed, reached maturity). By this we may perceive (know, recognize, and be sure) that we are in Him:

James 4:8 Come close to God and He will come close to you. [Recognize that you are] sinners, get your soiled hands clean; [realize that you have been disloyal] wavering individuals with divided interests, and purify your hearts [of your spiritual adultery].

Acts 17:28 For in Him we live and move and have our being; as even some of your [own] poets have said, For we are also His offspring.

Prov 8:34 Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

1 Tim 4:13 Till I come, devote yourself to [public and private] reading, to exhortation (preaching and personal appeals), and to teaching {and} instilling doctrine.

Rom 13:14 But clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), and make no provision for [indulging] the flesh [put a stop to thinking about the evil cravings of your physical nature] to [gratify its] desires (lusts).

1 Pet 2:2 Like newborn babies you should crave (thirst for, earnestly desire) the pure (unadulterated) spiritual milk, that by it you may be nurtured {and} grow unto [completed] salvation,

James 1:22 But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth].

1 John 3:5 You know that He appeared in visible form {and} became Man to take away [upon Himself] sins, and in Him there is no sin [essentially and forever].
1 John 3:6 No one who abides in Him [who lives and remains in communion with and in obedience to Him--deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] commits (practices) sin. No one who [habitually] sins has either seen {or} known Him [recognized, perceived, or understood Him, or has had an experiential acquaintance with Him].

2 John 1:9 Anyone who runs on ahead [of God] and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ [who is not content with what He taught] does not have God; but he who continues to live in the doctrine (teaching) of Christ [does have God], he has both the Father and the Son.

2 Cor 4:15 For all [these] things are [taking place] for your sake, so that the more grace (divine favor and spiritual blessing) extends to more and more people {and} multiplies through the many, the more thanksgiving may increase [and redound] to the glory of God.
2 Cor 4:16 Therefore we do not become discouraged (utterly spiritless, exhausted, and wearied out through fear). Though our outer man is [progressively] decaying {and} wasting away, yet our inner self is being [progressively] renewed day after day.

Heb 2:1 SINCE ALL this is true, we ought to pay much closer attention than ever to the truths that we have heard, lest in any way we drift past [them] {and} slip away.
Heb 2:2 For if the message given through angels [the Law spoken by them to Moses] was authentic {and} proved sure, and every violation and disobedience received an appropriate (just and adequate) penalty,
Heb 2:3 How shall we escape [appropriate retribution] if we neglect {and} refuse to pay attention to such a great salvation [as is now offered to us, letting it drift past us forever]? For it was declared at first by the Lord [Himself], and it was confirmed to us {and} proved to be real {and} genuine by those who personally heard [Him speak].

How to build your faith

Heb 11:1 NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see {and} the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

Heb 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please {and} be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly {and} diligently seek Him [out].

Heb 11:27 [Motivated] by faith he left Egypt behind him, being unawed {and} undismayed by the wrath of the king; for he never flinched {but} held staunchly to his purpose {and} endured steadfastly as one who gazed on Him Who is invisible.

1 Pet 1:7 So that [the genuineness] of your faith may be tested, [your faith] which is infinitely more precious than the perishable gold which is tested {and} purified by fire. [This proving of your faith is intended] to redound to [your] praise and glory and honor when Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) is revealed.
1 Pet 1:8 Without having seen Him, you love Him; though you do not [even] now see Him, you believe in Him and exult {and} thrill with inexpressible and glorious (triumphant, heavenly) joy.
1 Pet 1:9 [At the same time] you receive the result (outcome, consummation) of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

Rom 1:17 For in the Gospel a righteousness which God ascribes is revealed, both springing from faith and leading to faith [disclosed through the way of faith that arouses to more faith]. As it is written, The man who through faith is just {and} upright shall live {and} shall live by faith.

Josh 1:9 Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Rom 10:17 So faith comes by hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the preaching [of the message that came from the lips] of Christ (the Messiah Himself).

James 1:5 If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally {and} ungrudgingly, without reproaching {or} faultfinding, and it will be given him.
James 1:6 Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither {and} thither and tossed by the wind.
James 1:7 For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord,
James 1:8 [For being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), [he is] unstable {and} unreliable {and} uncertain about everything [he thinks, feels, decides].

Luke 1:37 For with God nothing is ever impossible {and} no word from God shall be without power {or} impossible of fulfillment.

Rom 4:20 No unbelief {or} distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong {and} was empowered by faith as he gave praise {and} glory to God,
Rom 4:21 Fully satisfied {and} assured that God was able {and} mighty to keep His word {and} to do what He had promised.

2 Cor 4:8 We are hedged in (pressed) on every side [troubled and oppressed in every way], but not cramped {or} crushed; we suffer embarrassments {and} are perplexed {and} unable to find a way out, but not driven to despair;
2 Cor 4:9 We are pursued (persecuted and hard driven), but not deserted [to stand alone]; we are struck down to the ground, but never struck out {and} destroyed;
2 Cor 4:10 Always carrying about in the body the liability {and} exposure to the same putting to death that {the Lord} Jesus suffered, so that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be shown forth by {and} in our bodies.

Rom 8:31 What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]

Jude 1:20 But you, beloved, build yourselves up [founded] on your most holy faith [make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher], praying in the Holy Spirit;
Jude 1:21 Guard {and} keep yourselves in the love of God; expect {and} patiently wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah)--[which will bring you] unto life eternal.

2 Cor 5:7 For we walk by faith [we regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man's relationship to God and divine things, with trust and holy fervor; thus we walk] not by sight {or} appearance.

Mark 9:23 And Jesus said, [You say to Me], If You can do anything? [Why,] all things can be (are possible) to him who believes!

Ps 73:25 Whom have I in heaven but You? And I have no delight {or} desire on earth besides You.
Ps 73:26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the Rock {and} firm Strength of my heart and my Portion forever.

Jer 32:27 Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is there anything too hard for Me?

Micah 7:8 Rejoice not against me, O my enemy! When I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light to me.

Habakkuk 2:4 Look at the proud; his soul is not straight {or} right within him, but the [rigidly] just {and} the [uncompromisingly] righteous man shall live by his faith {and} in his faithfulness.

James 2:18 But someone will say [to you then], You [say you] have faith, and I have [good] works. Now you show me your [alleged] faith apart from any [good] works [if you can], and I by [good] works [of obedience] will show you my faith.
James 2:22 You see that [his] faith was cooperating with his works, and [his] faith was completed {and} reached its supreme expression [when he implemented it] by [good] works.

Jude 1:3 Beloved, my whole concern was to write to you in regard to our common salvation. [But] I found it necessary {and} was impelled to write you and urgently appeal to {and} exhort [you] to contend for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints [the faith which is that sum of Christian belief which was delivered verbally to the holy people of God].

Heb 10:32 But be ever mindful of the days gone by in which, after you were first spiritually enlightened, you endured a great {and} painful struggle,
Heb 10:35 Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great {and} glorious compensation of reward.
Heb 10:36 For you have need of steadfast patience {and} endurance, so that you may perform {and} fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive {and} carry away [and enjoy to the full] what is promised.
Heb 10:37 For still a little while (a very little while), and the Coming One will come and He will not delay.
Heb 10:38 But the just shall live by faith [My righteous servant shall live by his conviction respecting man's relationship to God and divine things, and holy fervor born of faith and conjoined with it]; and if he draws back {and} shrinks in fear, My soul has no delight {or} pleasure in him.
Heb 10:39 But our way is not that of those who draw back to eternal misery (perdition) and are utterly destroyed, but we are of those who believe [who cleave to and trust in and rely on God through Jesus Christ, the Messiah] {and} by faith preserve the soul.
