How to commit your life to Christ

Rom 10:9 Because if you acknowledge {and} confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) {and} confirms [his] salvation.
Rom 10:11 The Scripture says, No man who believes in Him [who adheres to, relies on, and trusts in Him] will [ever] be put to shame {or} be disappointed.
Rom 10:12 [No one] for there is no distinction between Jew and Greek. The same Lord is Lord over all [of us] and He generously bestows His riches upon all who call upon Him [in faith].
Rom 10:13 For everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord [invoking Him as Lord] will be saved.

Ps 37:3
Trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, {and} truly you shall be fed.
Ps 37:4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires {and} secret petitions of your heart.
Ps 37:5 Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass.
Ps 37:6 And He will make your uprightness {and} right standing with God go forth as the light, and your justice {and} right as [the shining sun of] the noonday.
Ps 37:7 Be still {and} rest in the Lord; wait for Him {and} patiently lean yourself upon Him; fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

Isaiah 55:6 Seek, inquire for, {and} require the Lord while He may be found [claiming Him by necessity and by right]; call upon Him while He is near.
Isaiah 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have love, pity, {and} mercy for him, and to our God, for He will multiply to him His abundant pardon.

Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears {and} listens to {and} heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me.

John 6:37 All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me].

John 6:40 For this is My Father's will {and} His purpose, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in {and} cleaves to {and} trusts in {and} relies on Him should have eternal life, and I will raise him up [from the dead] at the last day.

John 6:44 No one is able to come to Me unless the Father Who sent Me attracts {and} draws him {and} gives him the desire to come to Me, and [then] I will raise him up [from the dead] at the last day.
John 6:45 It is written in [the book of] the Prophets, And they shall all be taught of God [have Him in person for their Teacher]. Everyone who has listened to and learned from the Father comes to Me--
John 6:46 Which does not imply that anyone has seen the Father [not that anyone has ever seen Him] except He [Who was with the Father] Who comes from God; He [alone] has seen the Father.
John 6:47 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, he who believes {in Me} [who adheres to, trusts in, relies on, and has faith in Me] has (now possesses) eternal life.

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please {and} be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly {and} diligently seek Him [out].

Ezek 36:26 A new heart will I give you and a new spirit will I put within you, and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
Ezek 36:27 And I will put my Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you shall heed My ordinances and do them.

2 Pet 3:9 The Lord does not delay {and} is not tardy {or} slow about what He promises, according to some people's conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance.
2 Pet 3:18 But grow in grace (undeserved favor, spiritual strength) and recognition {and} knowledge {and} understanding of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (the Messiah). To Him [be] glory (honor, majesty, and splendor) both now and to the day of eternity. Amen (so be it)!

Rom 6:22 But now since you have been set free from sin and have become the slaves of God, you have your present reward in holiness and its end is eternal life.

Ps 51:12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit.

2 Tim 1:12 And this is why I am suffering as I do. Still I am not ashamed, for I know (perceive, have knowledge of, and am acquainted with) Him Whom I have believed (adhered to and trusted in and relied on), and I am [positively] persuaded that He is able to guard {and} keep that which has been entrusted to me {and} which I have committed [to Him] until that day.

Matt 10:42 And whoever gives to one of these little ones [in rank or influence] even a cup of cold water because he is My disciple, surely I declare to you, he shall not lose his reward.

How to recover spiritually

Is 40:28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary; there is no searching of His understanding.
Is 40:29 He gives power to the faint {and} weary, and to him who has no might He increases strength [causing it to multiply and making it to abound].

Is 40:31 But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change {and} renew their strength {and} power; they shall lift their wings {and} mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint {or} become tired.

Ps 86:5
For You, O Lord, are good, and ready to forgive [our trespasses, sending them away, letting them go completely and forever]; and You are abundant in mercy {and} loving-kindness to all those who call upon You.

Phil 3:14 I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.

Ezek 34:16 I will seek that which was lost and bring back that which has strayed, and I will bandage the hurt {and} the crippled and will strengthen the weak {and} the sick, but I will destroy the fat and the strong [who have become hardhearted and perverse]; I will feed them with judgment {and} punishment.
Ezek 34:30 Then shall they know [positively] that I, the Lord their God, am with them and that they, the house of Israel, are My people, says the Lord God,
Ezek 34:31 And that you, My sheep, the sheep of My pasture, are [only] men and I am your God, says the Lord God.

Heb 12:11 For the time being no discipline brings joy, but seems grievous {and} painful; but afterwards it yields a peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it [a harvest of fruit which consists in righteousness--in conformity to God's will in purpose, thought, and action, resulting in right living and right standing with God].
Heb 12:12 So then, brace up {and} reinvigorate {and} set right your slackened {and} weakened {and} drooping hands and strengthen your feeble {and} palsied {and} tottering knees,
Heb 12:13 And cut through {and} make firm {and} plain {and} smooth, straight paths for your feet [yes, make them safe and upright and happy paths that go in the right direction], so that the lame {and} halting [limbs] may not be put out of joint, but rather may be cured.

Ps 92:13 Planted in the house of the Lord, they shall flourish in the courts of our God.

Eph 4:16 For because of Him the whole body (the church, in all its various parts), closely joined and firmly knit together by the joints {and} ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part [with power adapted to its need] is working properly [in all its functions], grows to full maturity, building itself up in love.

How to obtain the promises

2 Pet 1:4 By means of these He has bestowed on us His precious and exceedingly great promises, so that through them you may escape [by flight] from the moral decay (rottenness and corruption) that is in the world because of covetousness (lust and greed), and become sharers (partakers) of the divine nature.
2 Pet 1:5 For this very reason, adding your diligence [to the divine promises], employ every effort in exercising your faith to develop virtue (excellence, resolution, Christian energy), and in [exercising] virtue [develop] knowledge (intelligence),
2 Pet 1:6 And in [exercising] knowledge [develop] self-control, and in [exercising] self-control [develop] steadfastness (patience, endurance), and in [exercising] steadfastness [develop] godliness (piety),
2 Pet 1:7 And in [exercising] godliness [develop] brotherly affection, and in [exercising] brotherly affection [develop] Christian love.
2 Pet 1:8 For as these qualities are yours and increasingly abound in you, they will keep [you] from being idle or unfruitful unto the [full personal] knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

Heb 10:23 So let us seize {and} hold fast {and} retain without wavering the hope we cherish {and} confess {and} our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) {and} faithful to His word.

Heb 10:35 Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great {and} glorious compensation of reward.
Heb 10:36 For you have need of steadfast patience {and} endurance, so that you may perform {and} fully accomplish the will of God, and thus receive {and} carry away [and enjoy to the full] what is promised.
Heb 10:37 For still a little while (a very little while), and the Coming One will come and He will not delay.

Deut 11:22 For if you diligently keep all this commandment which I command you to do, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, and to cleave to Him--
Deut 11:23 Then the Lord will drive out all these nations before you, and you shall dispossess nations greater and mightier than you.

Josh 1:7 Only you be strong and very courageous, that you may do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you. Turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.

Mark 11:23 Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.

Heb 11:1 NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see {and} the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please {and} be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly {and} diligently seek Him [out].

Heb 11:11 Because of faith also Sarah herself received physical power to conceive a child, even when she was long past the age for it, because she considered [God] Who had given her the promise to be reliable {and} trustworthy {and} true to His word.

Heb 6:12 In order that you may not grow disinterested {and} become [spiritual] sluggards, but imitators, behaving as do those who through faith (by their leaning of the entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) and by practice of patient endurance {and} waiting are [now] inheriting the promises.

Gal 3:26 For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith.
Gal 3:27 For as many [of you] as were baptized into Christ [into a spiritual union and communion with Christ, the Anointed One, the Messiah] have put on (clothed yourselves with) Christ.
Gal 3:28 There is [now no distinction] neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is not male and female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Gal 3:29 And if you belong to Christ [are in Him Who is Abraham's Seed], then you are Abraham's offspring and [spiritual] heirs according to promise.

Isaiah 1:19 If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;
Is 1:20 But if you refuse and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword. For the mouth of the Lord has spoken it.

Rom 4:16 Therefore, [inheriting] the promise is the outcome of faith {and} depends [entirely] on faith, in order that it might be given as an act of grace (unmerited favor), to make it stable {and} valid {and} guaranteed to all his descendants--not only to the devotees {and} adherents of the Law, but also to those who share the faith of Abraham, who is [thus] the father of us all.

1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to {and} hears us.
1 John 5:15 And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him.

Ex 15:26 Saying, If you will diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord your God and will do what is right in His sight, and will listen to {and} obey His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases upon you which I brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord Who heals you.

James 1:5 If any of you is deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God [Who gives] to everyone liberally {and} ungrudgingly, without reproaching {or} faultfinding, and it will be given him.
James 1:6 Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither {and} thither and tossed by the wind.
James 1:7
For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything [he asks for] from the Lord,
James 1:8 [For being as he is] a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), [he is] unstable {and} unreliable {and} uncertain about everything [he thinks, feels, decides].

Luke 1:37 For with God nothing is ever impossible {and} no word from God shall be without power {or} impossible of fulfillment.
Luke 1:38 Then Mary said, Behold, I am the handmaiden of the Lord; let it be done to me according to what you have said. And the angel left her.

Isaiah 59:1 BEHOLD, THE Lord's hand is not shortened at all, that it cannot save, nor His ear dull with deafness, that it cannot hear.
Is 59:2 But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.

Matt 6:33 But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides.
