| Central to my work is
a sense of wonder at the beauty of natural forms in everyday objects. I am
drawn to "simple" forms which are represented in still images. Besides
oil pantings I make monoprints,
graphics and collages. In 1999 I have been working
on "Images 1999", a
report of personal images, produced in the monoprint technique, in which I
express my feelings and thoughts of the last year of the 20th century by
using minimal form and colour.
From March through December I present my art at the Art market 't Spui
in Amsterdam. Besides this I exhibit in galleries, in my own studio and in
public buildings such as restaurants, hotels and offices. |
