Renault 15/17 vriendenclub
Meetings Agenda: meetings planned in 2012 - Mei 2012: Voorjaarsevenement Renault 15/17 vriendenclub 2012: Zeeland. De voorbereidingen zijn alweer gestart. Voorlopige data voor deze meeting: 12 en 13 mei 2012 - 4 en 5 augustus 2012: Festival Renaultoloog: n het weekend van 4 & 5 augustus 2012 gaat het gebeuren, dan zal het eerste Renaultoloog festival georganiseerd gaan worden. Een festival waar alles van Renault bij elkaar komt. Dan zullen er namelijk Renault auto's, vrachtwagens, bestelwagens, sportwagens, tractoren, campers enz. voor het eerst te zien zijn op één festival. Dit festival zal worden gehouden op het Evenemententerrein aan de Schorfvenweg in Kronenberg (nabij Venlo). Previous meetings: Some impressions of previous Dutch meetings: 1992: The first official Dutch R15/17 meeting at 'Slot Loevestein' 1998: Westerbork 1999: Heerde 2000: 'Weerribben' 2002: 'De Holenberg' 2003: 'Zeevang-Beemster' 2004: 'Eldorado' 1992:The first official Dutch R15/17 meeting at 'Slot Loevestein' Although some R15/17 enthusiasts visited each other regularly, this meeting was the very first organized since the start of the R15/17 club. It was organized by Bert Branten en Marcel Langstraat at a beautiful location: the castle of Loevestein. And as you can see we were very lucky with the weather. 
Picture from the 1992 meeting, it shows three Renaults 15. A red GTL, which has a 5-speed gearbox, a yellow 15 TL which originates in Italy, and a brown 15 TL. [top] 1998: Westerbork May 1998, As it had been a few years since there was an official meeting, the meeting in Westerbork, organized by Inge Koopman and her friend (back then, they are married now) Herman Pit, was a great success. Some 24 Renaults 15 and 17 and 5 Fuego's came to the Holiday Resort "Timmerholt"

For the first time in the Netherlands we had an Austrian attending. Actually, this year we had more foreign cars than Dutch!  Saturday, early in the morning it is still quiet at the campsite. There were some dark skies during the puzzletour, but at the lunch it was very sunny. It is a beautiful location and again we were lucky with the weather. Look for yourself at the pictures below:     [top] Click
on the pictures for full size 2004: 'Eldorado', 8 & 9 May Friday before the meeting it was terrible weather, rain all day long! Thus some participants that reserved on the campsite decided fridaynight to stay in a hotel. But, as often saturday and sunday the weather became better. Not as sunny and warm as you'd hope for in a Renault 17 découvrable but at least it stayed dry all weekend. The rally seemed a bit difficult this year as the winner scored a 39 points (out of a maximum of 52 points). And on Sunday we discoverd that there is quite some talent among us when it comes to crosbow shooting:     This year the local newspaper ('De Gelderlander') came to visit us, so we ended up on the front page (of the local section).
