Casa Georg Prister is 5 Km away from Brasov city.
Brasov is an old medieval town situated at the foot of the Carpathians.
Brasov, Kronstadt sometimes called, has many attractions and a rich nightlife.
Poiana Brasov is known for its ski facilities at attractive rates,
but also because of the presence of many Romanian traditions.
A few kilometers away are the towns of Sinaia Bran, and Rasnov.
Each of these places have good markets and pleasant dining.
In Sinaia, the castle of King Charles is worthfull to visit. In Bran you can find the famous castle of the Count Dracula.
Near Brasov there are high mountains, where not only can be skied (with various degrees of difficulty)
but also long mountain walks can be done. Besides Poiana Brasov you can also go skiing in Sinaia and Predeal.
