My Guitars

I've got two guitars now, an acoustic and an electric guitar.

My acoustic guitar is a Fender NewPorter II. It's a 1992 re-issue of the original 60's Fender NewPorter. I bought when I was about 20. I particularly liked the Fender head-stock, it's something that you don't see that much on acoustic guitars. The body and neck are made of mahogany.

My electric guitar is a Stagg L-320CS, which I bought about two years ago. I wanted to have an electric guitar for a long time and two years ago I decided that I was going to buy one. I bought this one , because it looks like a Gibson Les Paul, but doesn't have the Gibson price-tag. Along with the guitar I bought a multi-effect (the Digitech RP-50) which you can program to simulated a variety of amps and effects. It sounds great and makes you feel like an instant guitar-god by playing just three chords...

My Son's Guitars

My son Coen (13 yrs) also plays guitar. He's been following lessons for four years now and plays better than his dad. He's got three guitars, a classical Spanish guitar, an acoustic and an electric guitar. The Spanish guitar was my first guitar, but I gave it to him when he wanted to start playing. The electric guitar is a strat-like model by Volcano. The acoustic guitar is a Stagg, which he bought himself.

When I finish my own guitar and I've enjoyed it as much as I think I will. The next project will be a guitar for him. It will probably be a Flying-V or a B.C. Rich Warlock kind of metal-guitar, cause that's what's really 'cool'.
