The Design

So I wanted to build a electric guitar... You can go two ways with that... 1) build a replica of a guitar you like, or 2) design one yourself.

If you take door number one and build a replica you'll first have to decide upon which guitar you want to copy. Once you have got that figured out, the design issues that you will face are minor ones. It basically comes down to choosing the colorsheme and the type of hardware that you want to use.
If you go for your own design, the choices that you will have to make are plentifull. There are a lot of choices that will effect the look and feel of your guitar as well as the build-proces.

I wanted to design my own guitar. This would allow me to make it an "AJG original". In the following pages (see the menu on the left) I will discuss all the design choices that I made.
