Whats wrong with me??

 

I am born on  21 december 1944 in a small village.

After the basic school I was intrested in radio.

We started in 1960 on 1650 Khz with a single 807 in AM.

But the police was not amused about our aktivity so we started to learn whats in the books of the VERON, our national radio club.

We also start with morse exercising and finaly the examination at the national post compagny.

We succeded in 1993 and I got the call PA0ZH

 

At the start, we begin with a Gelose VFO and a 807 as final amplifier, all AM

In that time, checked by the authorities and we could go on, sjapoo !!!

A lot of modes and bands has been past the last 45 years.

From 136 Khz to 23 cm we have been aktive.

First with AM, later, of course with SSB.

But also with SSTV on HF

ATV on 70 cm.

But all the time...except the TRX, all futher equipment was home made, specialy the linier amplifiers, power supply's and antenne's

Main goal was: collecting DXCC and IOTA entity's.

Also I was participant in many national and international contest.

I was involved in 3 DX-peditions, 2 times for the Caribean and 1 time to Svalbard.

After starting with moonbouncing in 2007  on 2 meter I got my greates awarding , the first PA  with a DXXC on 11 bands.
