Op deze site vind je informatie over een aantal projecten waar ik mee bezig ben geweest.

Naast ombouw gegevens van bestaande (RF) apparatuur zijn er ook nog wat vergelijkende metingen te vinden.

Waar beschikbaar is de fabrieksdocumentatie geplaatst naast mijn eigen bevindingen.

Experimenting with JRC 2100 MHz Amplifier:

New 2009 13cm project, JRC WPAJ11 / NAH-2145D Power Amplifier Unit.

This UMTS amplifier uses 2 ericsson / Freescale MRF5S21100Hpower MOSFETS

†††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††† First PA1RK test results July 2009: The unmodified unit is not useable for 13cm. The internal filters are for 2060 - 2200MHz.

 

Results tuned at 2330MHz:

MW4IC2230 only: 10dBm input, 36dBm output (4W) (tuned)

MW4IC2230 and MRF5S21100H, 10dBm input, 48,4dBm output (70W, tuned)

MRF5S21100H only, around 40dBm input, 49,5dBm output (90W, tuned) DC input 190W

 

So I suggest the best way to use the amplifier is to use only the two MRF5S21100H power amps and combine them with a 90deg combiner. Output power will be more than 150Watts.
