Pilot Jack Boswell
Jack Boswell was een goede vriend van onze Halifax
bemanning. De crew van Boswell en Wilson deelden samen een hut, ze kenden elkaar
al voordat ze paraat werden. Tijdens de diverse basis trainingen leerden de
mannen elkaar kennen, er ontstond een goed vriendschap die tot op de dag van
vandaag nog levend wordt gehouden door Jack Boswell.

"We shared a Nissen Hut with "Tug" Lloyd and their crew and
stayed there until some of us got commissions and moved to officer's quarters on
the same site and nearby and until their tragic loss. We got on well together
and it was always a pleasure to have another crew to talk to and swap
experiences. As well as the more serious discussion they were always good, too,
