 What is new !!

 last update 5 March 2009

Remarks: The subordinate units mentioned under each Korps, are only limited to German units of divisional size. This means that smaller German units and allied units (Italian, Rumenean etc) are not mentioned, although these were often part of the Korps.

============================================
  In the AOK subordination table, only those dates are mentioned, that are known to me. This leaves a lot of gaps in the time-table. When the exact start- or end dates are known, then these are mentioned as "from" and "till". Otherwise only the date is mentioned, often only one date per AOK.
   ============================================
  Unfortunately I do not have a copy of the famous work of Tessin, so all data are from any source I could find, including the web. And, as mentioned before, there are still large gaps to be filled.
Anyone who could be of assistence, either by adding information or correcting errors, is very welcome to do so.

  Because the site is by no means complete, regular updates will follow
(see "What is new on the site"-page)

============================================
  This site is apolitical, and has nothing to do with right wing parties or Nazi belief.
It should be considered as a historical site only.

  The webmaster of this site, René Hermse, has also build a very complete site on the history of the famous German 7. Panzer Division: "Die Gespenster Division".
