The Powerpak was build by Sinclair Goddard Ltd. in Great Britain and is mounted above the rear tire of the bicycle ( a position that was popular in GB)
The Powerpak has a deflector type piston and is 49 cc. The steel roller is mounted directly on the crankshaft. Just beneath the sattel, there is a handle that you can use to place the roller on the tire.
In 1953 you got the chance to buy a Powerpak with an automatic clutch, wich had the beautiful name "synchromatic drive". The normal Powerpak was also build.
The power output is about 1 hp and the topspeed is 30 km/h. A Powerpak is fun to drive, but it is lost of power when you are at low speed.
