The gloss of silk is intriguing and the colours of these paintings are bright and sparkling. Unfortunately a photo is unable to give a right interpretation of the reality.

Because the material consists of hollow fibres the paint can flow unlimited. With assistence of gutta (some sort of glue), salt, water and alcohol, it is possible to paint the silk in different manners.

Landscapes, sky and water have always an inspiring effect, but objects from nature with a special blaze of colours or a striking form are also being used often.

Do these paintings represent earthlayers, geodes, a sea-scape?

"The more minimal the art, the more maximum the explanation." (Hilton Kramer)

That's why I leave the titles of these paintings to your imagination.
